In
today’s business world, we are all asked
to perform at the highest levels. Maximizing profit
and keeping expenses down are critical to success.
Tracking financial performance and reporting it
is the scorecard we use to determine our effectiveness.
Unfortunately, most of
today’s sole proprietors and independent
contractors lack the time and desire to properly
prepare their accounting records.
If they choose to do it themselves, they are forced
to learn software and basic accounting principles
just to keep up with the demands of their business.
If they want to hire someone,
they turn to a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
or Bookkeeper. In most cases though, hiring a
professional is cost prohibitive.
